The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is an international certification and labelling system dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC enables businesses and consumers to create positive change to keep our forests healthy for generations to come. Rayacom is an FSC-certified printer.
We encourage clients to print on FSC® Certified and/or other ethically sourced base papers and use of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) stocks and Tree-Free Paper stocks. Paper is used multiple times during the make-ready process to save clean sheets and minimize production waste.
Rayacom is proud to be an environmentally conscientious offline and online print company. The paper we use comes from trees harvested under the Sustainable Forest Initiative. Additionally, Rayacom uses water-based coatings and chemical-free plates – a cutting-edge press technology that is considerably safer for the environment and the people who work in our printing facilities. Most printing companies still operate outdated print presses that use toxic chemicals and consume over 25,000 gallons of water per month! We continuously aim for zero waste and for sustainable printing.
Rayacom currently uses vegetable inks and recycles everything after use in production, including organic waste, papers, soft and hard plastics, leftover ink, electronics, press blankets, rags, pallets, UV bulbs, aluminum plates, solvents and even printing blankets. Rayacom is proud to play a positive role in the community and consider the environmental and social impact of business decisions.

As part of our commitment to building stronger communities, Rayacom proudly supports S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation through annual donations. S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation promotes the well-being of Canadians and newcomers through comprehensive services in settlement, language training, employment, family counseling, health care, and community development. Our ongoing support of the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation reflects our dedication to empowering diverse communities and fostering an inclusive society where everyone can thrive. By contributing to this respected organization, we help advance its mission of building bridges of understanding between cultures, creating growth opportunities, and ensuring vital social services reach those who need them most.
At Rayacom, we believe in making a meaningful difference in our local community. Through our support to NightShift Street Ministries, we contribute to essential programs that help Metro Vancouver’s most vulnerable residents. As homelessness continues to rise in our region, NightShift provides vital services including hot meals, clothing, shelter supplies, and transformational recovery programs. Our monthly commitment helps ensure these critical services remain available 365 days a year. We’re proud to support NightShift’s mission of creating a welcoming community and providing pathways to recovery for those facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.
